CMC’s social work
involves activities to understand patients’ pain and needs in many aspects based on consultations with the patients who cannot receive medical services owing to economic difficulties although they are suffering from curable illnesses and their caregivers, and to support medical expenses to alleviate pain caused by economic difficulties.
Additionally, an official medical volunteer team is organized to visit areas with poor medical facilities and care for patients in such areas (mobile clinics), as well as to continuously conduct medical support activities such as inviting low-income patients for treatment.
