CMC’s hospice team

assists terminal patients to retain their human dignity and encounter their last moment with peace based on physical, emotional and spiritual care.
The team also continuously cares for the patient’s family after death so that they are able to overcome pain and grief.
CMC newly established a department of hospice in Gangnam St. Mary’s Hospital in 1987 for the first time in Korea,
and it started expanding to other affiliated hospitals as a field of expertise.
